Boys Novice Coach
As a late-to-the-sport learner, Coach Carroll started coaching Liverpool Boys Novice in 2021. He brings an excitement to teaching those who are new to the sport and all the great benefits it offers. After graduating with an undergraduate degree in Computer Science in 2005, Coach Carroll began looking for opportunities to learn to row in the Rochester area, finding it at the Genesee Rowing Club. He spent the summer learning to row, rowing in their master's program, and also getting some training with the University of Rochester rowing team. Coach Carroll then took a break from rowing as he returned to school until finding his way back to the sport in Syracuse in 2016. He has spent that time rowing with the Master's as well as learning to scull.
